I am the owner of a therapy business. My company provides onsite therapy services for injured workers. These services include onsite therapy treatment, evaluations to assist with return to work options, job analysis and ergonomic assessments. I work closely with companies to develop strategies to assist in injury prevention and safety along with plans to assist in reducing lost time accidents. My position at Ohio American Water is Cross Connection Specialist. I mandate the Cross Connection policies that were formed from the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency. In enforce that all connections that have Ohio American Water either in their business or residents have proper backflow protection. I am also a certified backflow inspector, installer, and tester through the state of Ohio. I have been with the company for five years, starting as a meter reader, moving to a utility person, than water treatment plant operator, water treatment maintenance person, then moving to the management position I am currently in.
