Elaine has worked for Marion Community Credit Union since 1988 and held many different positions with the credit union. At this time, she is the Quality Control Manager. Her primary responsibilities are compliance, security and new product development. Compliance encompasses all things within the credit union, whether in print, on the website or with staff. New and changing regulations require constant review of policies and procedures to ensure compliance. Staff training is required to insure all departments are current and up-to-date. Security insures that policies and procedures are in place and being followed by all staff members to insure the safety and soundness of the products and services for their members. Staff compliance training must be completed and documented for all staff members annually and for all new/changing policies and procedures as needed. She is responsible for exploring new products and services and making recommendations for additions. Once approved, she plans, develops and implements them. As needed, she assists the other departments and handles member's concerns, problems and questions.
