The mission of the agency is to lead the community in the prevention, identification and protection of abused and neglected children. This is accomplished by working with families, service providers and community members to assess risk and coordinate community-based services resulting in safe, stable and permanent homes for children. Protecting childreen from abuse and neglect is the legal responsibility of the county. Marion County Childrens Services is the county agency that provides these stable mandated services by 1) investigating child abuse and neglect, 2) protecting affected kids, and 3) providing kids with a safe environment through foster care or adoption. |

I am the Assistant Treasurer to the Treasurer (CEO) of Tri-Rivers Career Center. I am primarily responsible for all aspects of our accounts payable system (approving new vendors, completing purchase orders, verifying invoices, paying bills), placing orders with vendors as well as managing our accounts receivable. I receive all monies collected by Tri-Rivers and am responsible for the daily deposit to our local bank. My job responsibilities also include managing our fixed asset inventory system ( entering all new items on the system, deleting disposed items, and building and department transfers). I am also responsible for collecting and receipting all student fee payments and entering their payment stutus on state required software. As the Asst. Treasurer, am responsible for completing the monthly reports and sending them to the Career Technical Directors as well as reports given to the Board of Education. I work with the State Auditor's Office team members on a yearly basis to insure they have required items needed to conduct our annual audits. |

As an associate professor of Information Technologies I am lead faculty for the Ohio Information program, which includes the Associate of Applied Business degree in Office Information and the Microcomputer Office Certificate. As a faculty member my responsibilities include development of curricula, course design and delivery, and assessment. All my courses encompass an online component , and I also teach courses at a distance. In addition to teaching, faculty complete student advising, maintain program advisory committee, and participate on college-wide committees. Currently, I am a team leader for the MTC High Learning Commission (HLC) self-study and the IT Strategic Planning Committee member. |
